What Happens When Nobody Want To Be A Man. More Women.
Based on Susana Vargas' research work, Mujercitos shows the photographs of men dressed as women published in Alarma !, the Mexican newspaper of red note par excellence, between 1963 and 1986. The book emerges from the review Susana Vargas's research work, related to the discourse and treatment that certain Mexican media did about homosexuality. Portraits of highly sexualized men who acquire a leading role in photographs, relate the way in which these images had a large impact on the Mexican context in a national imaginary of non-normative sexualities, through the analysis and identification of specific ways of being that were at stake. Creative direction by Ramón Reverté.
