MDW Jewelry is created by founder and artist Meghan Weeks. Reflecting form her Cree heritage, this piece is lovingly made to pay tribute to her Aunt Darlene, who plays a prominent role in passing down the teachings of sacred medicines and stories to First Nations youth and communities. Representing Sweetgrass the hair of Mother Earth, this highly textured braid is hand detailed and oxidized to bring out all the features. Each cuff is hand forged and made of solid sterling silver.
